Events >  April Passport Month

Our 7th annual Passport Event celebrates Gorge Wine throughout the month of April!
Your purchased Passport is your access pass to exclusive offers, incredible discounts and unique experiences at 24 Gorge wineries all April long, including three very special, wine-focused weekend events at participating wineries.


Passport holders receive amazing deals at our Oregon and Washington wineries with deep discounts, food pairings, barrel tastings, reserve tastings, and more. Enjoy a relaxing day, memorable weekend, or multiple weekends touring around the wild beauty of the Columbia Gorge.


Passports are $25 and also include lodging and dining specials. Passports will be available available for purchase online starting February 27 or at participating wineries in mid March.

Portland Grand Tasting   –  A Special Passport Celebration in Portland

Date: Friday, April 10th

The Portland Passport preview event features 25+ wineries from the Columbia Gorge pouring their world-class wines for one day only!  Socialize with some of our winemakers pouring the wine and discover for yourself the passion and craft that goes into every bottle of Gorge wine.

$35 Admission for the Portland Tasting includes a Passport for the April Passport month in the Gorge (a $25 value in itself), as well as tastings from 25+ Gorge wineries, hors d'oeuvres, and a commemorative wine glass.

Tickets will be available online starting February 27 and, if not sold out before the event, at the door. (Admission will also be available without the Passport for $25.)

Trade trading is open to wholesale and retail distributors, and media with a relevant business card.



Food & Wine Weekend
A Special Passport Weekend Event

Date: April 11th & 12th

Celebrate the greatest gift to the palate; the perfect marriage of food and wine.

Our wineries are celebrating the bounty of fresh food in the Gorge and our exceptional ability to grow food-friendly wines. Small bites, special cheeses or pop-up food carts will be available along with take-home recipes, pairing lessons and new releases at 24 participating wineries. Come experience examples of impeccable pairing and learn how to create them for yourself!



Gorge Grapes Weekend

Date: April 18th & 19th

Explore the essence of what makes the Columbia Gorge Wine Region “A world of wine in 40 miles.”

With so much diversity of climate and soil, the Gorge has the ability to grow many unique varietals, from the familiar to some of which you’ve probably never heard of. Our wineries will be showing off their own unique offerings and new releases, teaching about local viticulture and providing the opportunity for comparative tastings. Come see what all the fuss is about and experience something new!

Your Passport is your ticket to an extraordinary weekend of exclusive barrel & reserve tastings!

Discover what makes a reserve wine “Reserve.” This exclusive weekend offering will give you a behind-the-scenes look at our wineries and give you special access to distinguished wines. Our wineries are bestowing right from the barrel, giving cellar tours, showcasing library and vertical tastings and providing access to their elite selections. Come experience the romance and passion of our winemakers first-hand and revel in the bounty!
